Good Food, Great Company, Guest Speakers…Together We Deliver

Quote:

Hi Lisa, 2019 is about to get underway for a new year for the Fort Langley Food & Friends program. As always I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank you and the church for continuing to provide us with such a wonderful venue for our Fort Langley Food & Friends’ lunches. The use of the Parish Hall and kitchen free of charge, continues to allow us to provide these valuable social senior lunches. It also allows them a safe haven to meet old friends and make new friends. We will continue to provide them with affordable meals and many new learning opportunities whether that is communicated by a special speaker, entertainer or performer, each sharing their passions and talents with these lovely seniors.

In 2018 we served 834 meals at your location, on 19 separate occasions, which translated into 360.5 volunteer hours just for those lunches.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please share this with all those folks that have helped make this a reality for us year after year.
Sincerely, Rhonda Coleman – Volunteer Coordinator/LMOW Fort Langley Food & Friends
